Remember when sizing pumps that all manufacturers would reccomend that the pump run for at least one minute so that pressure tanks should be sized to accomodate. If the pump delivers 9GPM then the pressure tank should have at least a 9 Gallon drawdown at the required pressure setting. Short Cycling of pumps dramatically decreases the life cycle.

Proper sizing of pumps is critical for good working long life applications. If the following information is obtained, the right pump can be sized in minutes.
